Benediktinská hospodářská správa Břevnov s.r.o.
Benediktinská hospodářská správa Břevnov s.r.o. (Břevnov Benedictine Economic Administration) was founded in 2014 as the operational organisation of the Břevnov Archabbey and continues a tradition of monastic management that is more than a thousand years old
It ensures property management for the Benedictine monasteries in Břevnov and Broumov, primarily outside their historical complexes. It takes care of more than 4,600 hectares of forest, manages agricultural land and is restoring traditional hop cultivation in the Libočany area. In addition to forestry and agriculture, it also deals with building management, rentals and maintenance of historical buildings. It restores tourist routes and old monastery paths, especially in the Broumov region. The company operates independently without leasing the property to third parties and emphasises sustainability and responsible management. It is a member of the Chamber of Church Forests (SVOL) and the Association of Hop Growers of the Czech Republic, and holds PEFC certification for sustainable forest management. The goal of management is the long-term stability of the property, care for the landscape and preservation of cultural and natural heritage. The company’s headquarters are located at the Břevnov Monastery.
