The Klášterní šenk Restaurant was founded in 2005 and continues a long tradition of hospitality at the Břevnov Monastery.
A space was created on the historic premises of the former monastery stables where the atmosphere of the past comes together with hearty cuisine and friendly service. Our menu is based on Czech and Central European traditions, complemented by seasonal specialties and quality ingredients from local suppliers. Enjoy lunch, a family dinner or a festive feast in an environment with soul. The Klášterní šenk Restaurant is a place where flavours, history and comfort form a harmonious whole.
We recommend making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is a popular establishment in Prague 6.

A unique location with traditional Bohemian cuisine in Břevnov.
Klášterní Šenk combines traditional Czech cuisine, the atmosphere of the Baroque monastery grounds and draft monastery beer from Břevnov.
It is a venue for a business lunch, a family gathering or an evening break after a walk through the monastery garden. In summer, you can sit in the garden in front of the restaurant in the entrance courtyard of the complex.

The restaurant on the premises of the Břevnov Monastery is open daily from 11:30 to 23:00.
We accept reservations by phone after 11:30 at +420 220 406 294, or by email at rezervace@klasternisenk.cz.
If you need a reservation for today, it is better to book by telephone. For operational reasons, the email may not be processed in a timely manner.
The reservation is valid only after confirmation by the restaurant manager, by phone or email. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please call again.

Is the restaurant suitable for families and larger groups?
Yes, the restaurant is ideal for families, smaller groups and intimate business meetings.
For groups of approximately 20 people or more we recommend using the representative premises of the prelature, which provide greater capacity, privacy and a complete catering service for communal dining, company lunches or celebrations, including technical support.

How do I get to the restaurant and where can I park?
The Klášterní šenk Restaurant is located on the premises of the Břevnov Monastery in Prague 6.
You can easily reach the area by tram or bus, the stops are just a few minutes’ walk away.
For visitors to the area, free parking is permitted around the complex or in front of the main entrance for 3 hours, and a parking disc is required.
Upon arrival, simply follow the navigation signs, or ask at the information centre or hotel reception.
