Benediktinské arciopatství sv. Vojtěcha a sv. Markéty

Tours of Břevnov Monastery

Discover more than a thousand years of history at one of the oldest Benedictine monasteries in Bohemia. Guided tours are led by our professional guides or, on selected occasions, by the monks who live here.

During the tour, you will visit St Margaret’s Basilica, the 11th-century Romanesque crypt and the prelature’s state rooms, including the Theresian Hall.
The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and is designed for groups of up to 50 people.
It always begins at the monastery’s information centre in the former Granary, where the ticket office is also located.

Please note that the monastery is not wheelchair-accessible and the route may vary slightly for operational reasons.

Admission

Admission must be paid in CZK at the information centre before the tour begins; card payments are not accepted.

Prices are standard – we do not offer any further discounts or reduced rates for groups or families. The tours are not included in the City of Prague’s discount schemes.
